November LAN in the can... 29 Oct 2003 11:48 pm by Byte
Sorry folks, had a an issue with venue availability again, and also myself and Frenchie are a little to busy.

Next event will be in the new year. If people have venue idea's or any other idea's for that matter, be sure to let us know. We'd love a few more people to come on board for event organisation and managment.

Low numbers... 24 Jul 2003 11:58 am by Frenchie
If people are being put off by the low number of people in the player list don't be. We know of about 5 players who have said they will be coming but haven't yet registered...now where did I leave that cluebat...

Anyway, Low numbers isn't necessarily a bad thing. A LAN with around 30 players can be just as good as a lan with 300. There are both advantages and disadvantages for large and small events...

A few things... 23 Jul 2003 04:46 pm by Frenchie
This is going to be a barebones LAN, ie no competitions or a strict schedule. Basically you will rock up and play whatever games you want for however long you want with whoever you want. There will be a couple of servers running for some of the more recent games. The idea is to have fun.

The pizza run will be happening again (probably around 7PM or so) and there will also be cans of soft drink to purchase.

We do have a bunch of posters (for games) left over from the last event as well as some new ones so we should be able to give everyone at least one (depending on numbers of course).

We have heard from some people that there may be problems using AusGamers to register for the event. If you have problems send us a message using the contact form.

If anyone in the area is wanting to come but has transport issues send us a message and something might be able to be worked out.

Venue is booked... 21 Jul 2003 08:26 pm by Frenchie
The venue has been booked and will definitely be running this weekend at the Glen Waverley District Scout Hall.

Registrations are a bit low so hurry up and register .

Registrations open now. Come one, come all..

Problem with Evento Sei 1 Jun 2003 10:35 pm by Frenchie
It looks like there might be a problem with the venue we were planning to use for Evento Sei.

If anyone knows of a venue in the Monash area that is suitable (ie space, power, can use overnight) contact us (using the form).

Otherwise we will have to postpone the event yet again...

Evento Sei has moved... 5 May 2003 03:43 pm by Frenchie
...in time

We have pushed back the date of Evento Sei one month to the 21st and 22nd of June for a couple of reasons:
  • use of the hall is still not fully arranged
  • big events on either side of the old date
If anyone has an issue with the new date post it in the forums...

Since it is nearing three weeks since Evento Cinque I though it was finally time to get around to doing the writeup...

At some stage it will be available.
